I've been working on Elita for quite some time, and I have to say that I'm incredibly pleased with the results. As you probably know, there's always been quite an underground call for a figure of Optimus Prime's significant other, who appeared in "The Search for Alpha Trion"
What held her up longest was her head. I wanted it to look just right, and for that I knew I needed to include some kind of horn, or antennae, or whatever you want to call it. So again I turned to the Gundam models. Below is an intense close-up of her head, which was made with a Princess Leia face and a Gundam helmet:
In general, the Female Autobots were problematic because I had to strike a balance between a body that looked human enough to pass as female but robotic enough to be believable as Autobots. The figures from a line called "Star Force" were a great fit.
