At some point I decided to try and correct Hasbro's oversights when it came to Action Master colors and bring the figures more in line with the TV show and the movie.
Jazz was essentially correct, except that everything that's supposed to be black was a really gloomy shade of blue. With some red trim and a fresh new insignia, he's ready to evacuate Moon Base One all over again.
It's also wild to look at him next to Custom Master Stepper
now; they're almost negative images!
Here's how I got Jazz to better represent his cartoon self:
