I pretty much took every single idea for Perceptor from Anthony Appleton's original model, so I feel it's only right to let him tell the tale:
I first saw Perceptor as a kid in TF:TM, and he was also prominent in the Marvel UK comics. Because of his importance, I felt he deserved a figure to be made for him.
I noticed that Mainframe was a sort of "tribute" to Perceptor, so I repainted the torso in Perceptor colours. Then, using an Inferno head with the "ears" sanded down, completed the job. I also attached a PVC Perceptor microscope on his shoulder.
I used the following colors on Perceptor:
- Scarlett #60 (Humbrol)
- Mid Blue #89 (Humbrol)
- Skull White (Games Workshop)
- Chaos Black (Games Workshop)
- Golden Yellow (Games Workshop)
- Ice Blue (Games Workshop)
