Yellowjacket

The Decepticons relied heavily on the Seeker Jets — Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Ramjet, Dirge, and Thrust — at the beginning stages of the cartoon. There were also a few Seekers who didn't make the trip to Earth with Megatron; Yellowjacket is one of these. He appeared in the opening minutes of "More Than Meets the Eye" and tried to prevent Wheeljack and Bumblebee from entering Iacon: Yellowjacket is not an official name and you probably won't see it referenced as "canon" anywhere else; in fact, most people consider him to be a coloring mistake! But I thought he deserved better than that. Chris Tordesillas of Iaconcity has created some terrific 3-D renderings of my “Expanded Universe” Seeker jet characters, including Yellowjacket: Phased out (but seen to the left and submitted for your approval) is the PVC Yellowjacket, who has proven difficult to obtain (but not impossible for those that might want one).
