BOOKSTYLE BOX -

         Originally, due to budget constraints, the figure was going to be poly-bagged with a header card. But Chip and Joe saw enough room in the finances to accomodate a simple box. The plans for this first box however were quite rudimentary, it was not going to have a window at all. just the logo and some character art. The figure would also be sleeved by polyfoam and slid into the package. All in all, a very simple design.

Well, while working on the box layout Chip once again, as he is well known to do, went overboard. At first just for fun, after finishing the initial box design, he took it one step further and added in a window, with the thought that a little feature like this could be added without much hassle or additional expense. But that wasn't enough, he took the design well beyond the initial specs and modified it into the bookstyle box that saw distribution with the figure.

With the box design done next up was getting the character art drawn up.
